Prince William may be the heir apparent to the British throne, but it appears he is also a potential field marshal in the making.

His Current Highness showed off his surprisingly strong throwing arm at an NFL Basis event in London this week, leaving fans highly impressed on social media.

In addition to posing alongside former rugby star and Jacksonville Jaguars recruit Louis Rees-Zammit, William took part in a throwing drill and even ran a few plays with some of the young children in attendance.

NFL fans were quick to praise the British royal after images of his passing ability surfaced on social media, with some teasing that he could be a starter at quarterback for certain teams in the league.

One cited a clip of his throw on X and said: “He has a cannon for an arm.”

While one joked: “I wonder if the Giants, Panthers, Broncos, SeaHawks, Cowboys, Raiders, Browns or Patriots (the irony) are interested.”

William participated in the NFL event four months after meeting Kansas Metropolis Chiefs star Travis Kelce in London.

Travis met the English prince at one of his girlfriend Taylor Swift's Era Tour exhibits at Wembley Stadium over the summer, with the trio and William's children, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 9, posing together for a famous selfie backstage after the concert.

A few months after her NFL star son's current encounter, Kelce's mother, Donna, 71, revealed that he told her that running into his Current Highness was “one of the coolest things.”

However, he also spoke about his modest reaction to being in the company of such a high-profile figure.

Donna told Extra about Travis' thoughts on meeting Prince William: “He said, 'When you meet people like that, you know when the royals come in or Paul McCartney or Hugh Grant…someone's in the suite, and you're like, who in this photo? Doesn't it fit? Why am I here and why am I even allowed to talk to these people? “It just doesn’t seem right to me.”

Then he added: “But I think he's handling it pretty well, he's a pretty friendly guy.”

Travis also discussed his interaction with the English Prince on his New Heights podcast over the summer.
