Megan Thee Stallion sues blogger for 'lies' about Tory Lanez shooting

Megan Thee Stallion is suing blogger and content creator Miracle Elizabeth Cooper for allegedly spreading lies about her online.

Megan, 29, filed the lawsuit in Florida on Wednesday, October 30. In court documents obtained by Us weeklyThe rapper claimed that Cooper, also known online as MilagroGramz, “continues to act on behalf” of Tory Lanez by “producing falsehoods” about Megan to “her tens of thousands of social media followers.”

Most of Megan's claims about Cooper's conduct relate to Lanez, 32, who was convicted in December 2022 of shooting Megan in both feet in July 2020. Lanez was later sentenced to ten years prison and is currently incarcerated in California. Correctional institution. He filed an appeal against the verdict in February.

Megan alleged that Cooper “acts as a paid surrogate used to spread” Lanez’s “lies” about Megan, including “the false rumor” that he did not actually shoot Megan.

“Cooper acted [Lanez’s] public tender to denigrate, belittle, insult and spread false statements about [Megan] on their online social media platforms, for no other reason than to intimidate, harass and punish [Megan] for [Lanez’s] condemnation and tarnish his reputation, causing emotional distress,” the lawsuit states.

The documents provide several examples of Cooper's alleged conduct, including one from Sunday, Oct. 27, where he allegedly “falsely claimed that the firearm [Lanez] I used to shoot [Megan] “He did not appear during the trial because he was missing.”

Megan's constitucional team claimed that the firearm remains in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department, which Cooper “could have easily verified” rather than spreading “lies about the integrity of the trial.”

The lawsuit also includes screenshots of several tweets Cooper allegedly posted during Lanez's trial in 2022, including one that said: “All this case taught anyone was that their father, brother, cousin or son could face more than 20 years in prison without adequate evidence. a failed investigation and another possible suspect just because non-credible witnesses said you did something.”

The documents further describe Cooper as “a known online social media fraudster who traffics in false and sensational narratives.”

In addition to her claims involving Lanez, Megan accused Cooper of sharing a “deeply fake pornographic video” of her in June.

“Cooper encouraged his 27,000 X followers to view an X post by Bimbella that shared a manipulated and artificially created video of [Megan] allegedly engaged in sexual acts without [Megan’s] knowledge or consent,” the lawsuit alleges.

Megan shared her opinion on the lawsuit in a statement to Us.

“It's time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and posting misinformation about my personal and professional life,” he wrote. “I have endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers who misrepresent themselves as journalists. “This is unacceptable behavior and these people need to understand that there will be repercussions for recklessly publishing defamatory lies and falsehoods.”

The lawsuit is not the first time Megan has accused Lanez of paying content creators to spread misinformation about her.

“Not only did he shoot me, but he made fun of my trauma. “He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul,” she wrote in a statement read on her behalf at Lanez’s sentencing hearing. “He lied to anyone who would listen and paid bloggers to spread false information about the case on social media.”
