The 31-year-old nation singer praised the Outer benches actor, 32 years old, narration People on Friday, Oct. 11 about how much he values Stokes being in his life.
“It's been such a big, beautiful part of my life for almost two years,” Ballerini gushed.
The musician added that Stokes had served as a creative muse for her, adding: “I'm really proud of the art he has inspired.”

Not only is Ballerini grateful for the positive way Stokes is affecting her music, but the “Love Me Like You Imply It” singer is also in awe of her boyfriend's creative career as an actor.
“And I'm so proud to be with someone who also tells the truth in their own art,” she told the outlet. “And to be aligned in that way and share parts of our relationship and that kind of thing, so openly and willingly, is really beautiful.”

“Honestly, I think when you find someone who is not only someone you love and adore, but is also your best friend, you have the best of both worlds,” she gushed during a Thursday, Oct. 3, appearance on Today. “And not only is he a great person, but everything you see, whether it's on social media or when he's on stage, is exactly the person he is when he's not doing those things.”
Stokes also recently shared that her mother found out about the couple's romance in an unexpected way.
“I went home and every year for the holidays I return to my mother's house. And I drove from Charleston, where I live, to Florida, where my mom is, and I walked down the stairs and she had music playing,” Stokes recalled in Tonight's show starring Jimmy Fallon at the beginning of October. “I thought, 'Wait a minute… Is Kelsea Ballerini playing on my mom's speaker system?' And I just looked up at the sky and thought, 'What the fuck?'
He continued: “My mom heard me and said, 'Is that her?' And I said, 'Yeah, yeah, that's the girl I told you I was talking to.' It's strange that you're listening to it at home. And it's been almost two years [of dating] now.”
