
SEATTLE – Josh Allen threw two landing passes and the surging Buffalo Payments turned their first interception of the season into an afterthought, crushing the Seattle Seahawks 31-10 on Sunday.
James Prepare dinner ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns for the AFC East-leading Payments (6-2), who had control throughout and won their third straight game.
Allen finished 24 of 34 for 283 yards. His streak of passes without an interception reached 300 before Josh Jobe intercepted him in the second quarter. But Seattle (4-4) fumbled after that interception, and quarterback Geno Smith stumbled after taking the snap on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yard line. Allen responded by leading a 12-play, 93-yard drive. – the Payments' second 90-plus yard drive of the first half – for a 14-3 lead.
Allen concluded that possession with a 12-yard landing pass to Dalton Kincaid. Buffalo also drove 90 yards in 14 plays after the opening kickoff, and Allen found Keon Coleman for a 2-yard touchdown to end a drive that lasted 9:07.
Smith was 21 of 29 for 212 yards and one interception for the Seahawks, who were largely inept on offense. They ran only 32 yards and scored their only touchdown in garbage time.
Buffalo outgained Seattle 445 yards to 233 and held the ball for more than 38 minutes.
