Jill Martin opens up about battling cancer and getting divorced in the same year

Jill Martin has shared information about what it was like to fight cancer and face divorce in the same year.

“I spent the last year trying to save my life,” Martin said. Us. “And now I'm dealing with the mental trauma of all this. And I think many survivors will tell you that it never ends. Martin addressed the split during his podcast interview with Kotb and shared that there were problems in the marriage before it ended.

“I had a beautiful love story, but like some stories, unfortunately, they have a beginning, middle and end,” he said. “And we both put a last stop this time. So if everything was great, we'd be married. Obviously there were problems.”

Martin said she and her ex-husband “have different things that are important to each of us, and they are neither right nor wrong.”

The former couple met on a dating app and announced their engagement in 2019. They split shortly after, but eventually reconciled. In November 2021, Martin and Brooks were engaged again. They married in September 2022.
