Israel launched airstrikes against Iran on Saturday in a retaliatory attack that could bring the Middle East closer to a regional war. Israeli jets attacked military bases, missile sites and other systems in several Iranian regions in retaliation for a missile bombardment earlier this month. Iran said two soldiers were killed in the attacks.
