Donald Trump will hold a rally in New York City this Sunday in a last-ditch effort before the US presidential election. The economy and immigration are the two most important issues on voters' minds. New York City has seen thousands of immigrants arrive in recent years – in part because southern states bus them to the Big Apple through the Port Authority bus terminal – in a tit-for-tat between Republicans and Democrats. Trump has promised to carry out the largest mass deportation in US history if he returns to power, something that appears to resonate with much of his almohadilla. However, Democrats have focused on more positive messages about immigration: emphasizing border solutions and policies and helping immigrants adjust to life in the United States.
