One Course may be on an extended hiatus, but harry styles, Niall Horan Liam Payne, Luis Tomlinson and zayn malik have continued to make music (and headlines) over the years.
After forming and finishing third in the British version of The issue In 2010, One Course released four successful studio albums: Up all night, take me home, midnight memories and four. However, after five years as a group, Malik was the first to leave the band, announcing his departure in March 2015.
Horan, Payne, Types and Tomlinson released a fifth album.Done in the morningwithout Malik. However, shortly after the album came out, the remaining members of the band announced that they would be taking an extended hiatus. less than a year laterus weekly broke the news that the quartet decided “not to renew their recording contract,” and ultimately called it quits as a band.
In October 2024, Payne died at age 31.
