How to choose an Alienware gaming PC on Black Friday

Last year, Alienware offered several options when it came to gaming PCs in the form of the Aurora R13, R15, and the newer R16. This year, only the R16 is on offer, so if you're looking to buy a new gaming PC, then one of the many Aurora R16 configurations is the way to go. Fortunately, you have a lot of options, but for the most part, you'll have to choose the type of GPU you want, and a lot of that will also depend on the resolution and refresh rate you want to play at.

For 1080p gaming, the RTX 4060 and RTX 4070 series are great options, with the latter being good for higher refresh rates or even potentially 2K resolutions. The RTX 4080 line is also a solid 2K GPU, especially for higher resolutions, although it can be pushed to 4K if necessary. As for the RTX 4090, it's purely a 4K card, and using it for anything less would be a shame unless you're trying to boost insane refresh rates like 300-500Hz. So ultimately, a lot of your choices depend on the instructor resolution and refresh rate and what kind of budget you choose.
