talking to Us weekly Exclusively after the season finale, Cam, 25, told how he closely aligned himself with the eventual winner. Chelsie Baham and runner-up Makensy Manbeck. While viewers at home watched their often flirtatious relationship with the pair, and Chelsie's jealousy that resulted, Cam says she was leaning on her social game to prepare for the final stretch.
“I thought they had a very close friendship throughout the house and I knew I would have to work my way through them somehow. “I didn’t do it effectively,” he said.
Cam's most famous interactions with Makensy and Chelsie came during “Jankie Week,” a twist that kept guests locked outside for an entire week, sleeping on cots, playing carnival games, and eating nothing but pizza and ice cream. During this time, Cam grew closer to Makensy, literally moving his cot closer to hers and cuddling in full view of Chelsie.
Chelsie's other guests noticed her jealousy, and even caused her to Lea Peters to joke about his “crush” in the diary room.
“I just enjoy the hugs,” Cam added. “That's just me. “I just like to be hugged.”
Although nothing romantic ever materialized between Cam and any of the houseguests, his relationship with the two kept him safe despite his poor competition record. Cam, a former Division I soccer player, won only one competition all season (by comparison, the 50-year-old Angela Murray won three).
During the game, his fellow guests speculated that Cam was hosting competitions, although Cam insists he was trying. He also said that his social game propelled him to the last, which was made even more impressive by his failure to win power.
“I played many times in pressure situations on the football field, but I guess when it comes to being on the field Big Brother home and doing those competitions, it's really just the howling,” he said Us.
Despite his howling, Cam would love to play again. Big Brother and potentially win the grand prize of $750,000.
“He Big Brother “The game is something so specific and special that I would love to do it again,” he said. “Maybe I would do something a little different, and maybe that's just winning some competitions. But other than that, I think I played a very good game.”
