A Bahurst 1000 driver reportedly “lost everything” after a major fire engulfed his Gold Coast home while racing at Mount Panorama on Saturday afternoon.
After reports emerged about the Hope Island fire on Saturday, Seven News today revealed that the property had belonged to Supercars driver Declan Fraser.
Several fire trucks were called to the scene, but local reports claim that no one was injured in the incident.
Brad Jones Racing driver Fraser, 24, had teamed up with Andre Heimgartner for Sunday's big race.
It has not been confirmed what caused the fire.
During a live broadcast of the race, Fox Sports commentator Neil Crompton revealed the extent of the fire.
“When (Heimgartner) was there doing his Prime-10 Shootout, (Fraser's) house burned down,” Crompton told Fox Motorsport on Sunday.

Mark Walding, from the Gold Coast fire department, added: “It has basically been destroyed, so the house will have to be completely torn down and rebuilt.”
Erebus Motorsport drivers Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood would overtake Broc Feeney and Jamie Whincup to win Sunday's big race at Bathurst.
But Fraser and Heimgartner would finish 16th in the standings.
