Tammin Sursok has revealed the heartbreaking details of one of her miscarriages in 2017.
The Australian actress, 41, who lives in Nashville, Tennessee, posted a heartbreaking video about the horrible experience on Instagram.
Tammin, who now shares two children with her partner Sean McEwen, suffered her first miscarriage in 2016, but said the one she experienced the following year was “bad”.
'In 2017, I had a serious miscarriage. “I went for a routine checkup at 13 weeks and they told me there was no heartbeat,” Tammin began her video.
She then shared clips of her ultrasound checks, including one from the day she discovered her unborn child was not alive.
“I have bad news for you,” the doctor said in the video before it cut away.
Tammin continued: 'I started bleeding a lot and was admitted so I could receive medical intervention to release my pregnancy.
“If it weren't for the quick action of my doctors and my medical team, I'm not sure I would be here as a mother.” [sic] to two beautiful daughters.'

The actress then began showing clips of her spending time with her daughters, Phoenix, 11, and Lennon, five, whom she shares with her husband Sean.
Interspersed between the happy snaps were videos of Tammin crying as she revealed the news of her miscarriage to her followers.
“What is happening now with women's healthcare in America is terrifying,” Tammin captioned the videos.
'In 14 states, including Texas and Georgia, the government has to evaluate and choose how sick you must be to receive medical help.
“A Texas mother died last week after waiting 40 hours for medical care for a miscarriage.”
Tammin, who now shares two children, Phoenix and Lennon, (both pictured) with her partner Sean McEwen, suffered her first miscarriage in 2016, but said the one she experienced the following year was “bad”.
Tammin went on to claim that 30,000 more women had recounted their near-death experiences while awaiting medical attention for their miscarriages.
The former Residence and Away star previously recalled a dream she had after her second miscarriage.
In 2021, she revealed in a candid Instagram post that she had a “vivid dream” about a baby after losing the fetus.
'I remember after my second miscarriage I had a dream. It was so vivid that it felt so current. “I remember holding a baby,” he wrote.
'He had raven-dark curls and big brown eyes. I rocked her quietly and whispered, “Hello baby, I'm your mom.”
Tammin said: “I started bleeding a lot and was admitted so I could receive medical intervention to release my pregnancy.”
She continued: 'When I finally got pregnant [with Phoenix]I found it difficult to connect with my pregnancy. I was too afraid.
“When the doctors took her out of my belly via cesarean section and placed her on my chest, she looked exactly like the baby in my dream.”
Tammin went on to say that “wherever you are in your pregnancy/fertility journey, know that there is always hope, even when it seems hopeless.”
'I look at her now and know she was meant to be here. “My big brown-eyed, jet-black-haired girl of my dreams,” he concluded.
Tammin welcomed her second daughter, Lennon Bleu, in January 2019. She also shares her daughter Phoenix with her husband Sean.
