CALGARY – Forget Beetlejuice, Deadpool, Donald Trump and Dr. Doom masks, Calgary Flames fans are hoping one of the most popular looks to be like this Halloween comes courtesy of Rasmus Andersson.
“The Razzy Loss of life Stare,” smiles MacKenzie Weegar with a sinister look so chilling it earned a name.
“Yes, he has made it his own.”
In the midst of the Flames' unbelievable 4-0 start, Andersson celebrated his two timely road goals with a hostile spin toward the glass, followed by an intense look through the soul of a courtside fan.
“I did it when I got my 100th “In Vancouver for a couple of years and comes out from time to time,” Andersson said with a sly smile.
“I told Lomby (Ryan Lomberg) between the first and second intermission, 'It's time to score and stare at someone.'
“So it's about time. “It’s just a fun thing to do.”
Probably not much fun for the grim fan.

“The guy from Vancouver didn't look at me, he was just looking at the scoreboard and I said, 'come on, check me out,'” he chuckled.
“But I saw the one from Edmonton right away. It just happens. The funny thing about this is that they don't know how to react.”
That includes Weegar, who isn't sold on the move.
“We've talked about it, and I don't know if I'm the biggest fan just because it leaves me hanging,” laughed Weegar, who had to wait for the look to end before being recognized in the group hug.
“So if I'm on the ice with him, now I'll skate to the bench (after a goal).
“Hey, as long as he keeps scoring, he can do whatever he wants.
“It's just Razzy. It's on the mark. “He likes to encourage the public and make the followers participate.”
The 27-year-old defenseman's hallmark has long been his intensity and emotion, so it's easy to interpret his impression of the Undertaker as a “fuck you” response to the masses.
“Maybe a little bit,” Weegar said.
“Raz has resentment all the time.
“I think we all have a little bit of resentment, so we use that as motivation, of course. But who knows what Razzy is thinking when he does it. “I think he just wants to encourage the kids.”
It's working.
“Maybe it's something personal for me,” Andersson shrugged.
“I did it a few years ago and I liked it. It just happens.”
Andersson's six points tied him for the team lead with Jonathan Huberdeau, and put him atop the NHL's defensive scoring until Cale Makar went on a rampage Wednesday night.
He leads all Flames in plus-7 and minutes played per game (23:01), while building chemistry with Flames rookie Kevin Bahl in a duo tasked with taking down the best opponents.
He's still working on trying to shoot the puck more, as witnessed by his seven shot attempts against Philadelphia.
While both goals highlighted how dangerous his shot can be, his shot in Edmonton was particularly skillful when he first stripped Connor McDavid to enter the high slot, a move that had to be applauded by his league blue line teammates who have been comparably victimized by No. 97.

“Yes, he has quite a few of us,” Andersson smiled over the pendant.
“I don't think I've spent much time thinking about it, if I'm honest.
“Period a big goal right now.”
In fact, his first three-pointer that night tied the game midway through the second period, starting the team's second comeback of the season.
“I'm really proud of the way we kept it going,” he said of the team's impressive start to a season in which no one predicted the Flames would make the playoffs.
“That's the way we're going to play this year; We're just going to keep going like this and try to wear teams down.
“I feel like we have a good team here.
“We were a very good team in the third period, so keep it up.”
