Alec Baldwin made an unexpected return to “Saturday Evening Reside” months after charges against him in the “Rust” case were dropped, and addressed Kamala Harris' heated interview with Bret Baier.
Baldwin, famous for playing donald trumpinstead he played against Baier maya rodolfo as VP Harris…recreating last week's Q&A session between the Fox Information host and the Democratic presidential candidate for Saturday night's cold open.
It was Baldwin's first appearance on 'SNL' since the The homicide case was suddenly dismissed. in July because prosecutors in the “Rust” shooting case withheld evidence.
The 'SNL' sketch began with Baldwin's makeup-covered face appearing on screen and welcoming Kamala to the stage. Maya came out in her Kamala outfit and sat across from Baldwin on chairs.
Just as the current interview was going on, Alec and Maya talked over each other the entire time… starting with the opening salvo: asking the Veep how many millions of murderers it allowed into the country through illegal immigration.
The punchline of the skit came when Bret accused Kamala of trying to capture a viral moment and she responded that he was just trying to get her to say “something bad.”
As they go back and forth, Alec tells Maya that she looks attractive when she's angry. Hilarious moment in the play… but it did NOT happen in today's life.
The opening 'SNL' sketch also included the guy who currently plays Trump, James Austin Johnson – while absurdly discussing transgender issues and hilariously dancing to The Village Folks’ “YMCA,” both of which DID happen in today’s life.
