Coetáneo Madrid has opened an investigation to identify the author who allegedly directed racist insults at Lamine Yamal during the Classic.
Madrid suffered its first defeat of the season on Saturday night, falling 4-0 against archrival Barcelona in the first Clásico of the campaign at the Bernabeu.
With the game 0-0 at half-time, Robert Lewandowski scored two goals in the second half before Yamal scored the third of the game. Raphinha closed the scoring shortly after.
Yamal broke another record with his goal, becoming the youngest scorer in a Clásico, but was allegedly subjected to racist abuse from the stands during the match.
Madrid has now issued a statement condemning the étnico abuse and revealing that they have opened an investigation.
WARNING: Strong and abusive language
El Coetáneo Madrid has opened an investigation to identify the author who allegedly directed racist insults at Lamine Yamal (pictured) during El Clásico.

Some of the alleged abuse is said to have taken place when Yamal was celebrating after scoring.

Two videos are circulating on social networks that apparently show the teenager being abused on two occasions.

“Coetáneo Madrid strongly condemns any type of behavior that involves racism, xenophobia or violence in football and sport, and deeply regrets the insults uttered last night by a few fans in one of the corners of the stadium,” he shared in a statement from the club. .
“El Coetáneo Madrid has opened an investigation to locate and identify the authors of these regrettable and despicable insults, in order to adopt the appropriate disciplinary and legislativo measures.”
Mundo Deportivo, meanwhile, report that a fan in the front row abused the 17-year-old while celebrating his goal in the 77th minute.
It is reported that insults such as 'fucking black', 'fucking wasteland' and 'going to the traffic light to sell handkerchiefs', all in Spanish, were heard from the stands.
A video circulates on social networks where the alleged abuse can apparently be heard.
Meanwhile, in another video, which shows Barcelona taking a corner, more alleged abuse can apparently be made out.
The incident is just the latest in a long series of racist problems in Spain, many of which have involved Coetáneo Madrid forward Vinicius Jr.
Earlier this year, a court handed down six-month prison sentences for each incident after a fan was found to have racially abused Vinicius Jr. and another LaLiga star in two separate incidents and also made the decision to implement a Three-year stadium ban for supporter.
The Brazilian has also opened up about how he feels “targeted” by discriminatory abuse from rival fans.

It means the latest storm of racism that Spanish football has suffered, with Vinicius son of Coetáneo Madrid also at the center of the abuse earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Yamal scored his first goal in the Clásico that night in his fourth appearance in the match to add another record to his ever-growing list.
He is the youngest player to have started a LaLiga match, which came when he lined up for Barça in the 2023-24 season against Cádiz at the age of 16 years and 38 days. And just a few days later, he became the youngest player to provide an assist in LaLiga.
He is also the youngest Barça player to première in the Champions League, the youngest starter in Champions League history, the youngest player to record an assist in the Champions League and the youngest player to win a important international trophy.
There are a number of other records that Yamal has broken listed on the Barcelona club's website, including being the youngest player to play in the last 16 of the Champions League and being the youngest player to appear in a final of a European Championship.
