October hasn't reached its halfway point yet, but Hulu still offers some top-notch movies to stream. And while many of Hulu's movie selections this month are horror-related for Halloween, there are some new additions that fall outside of that genre. That includes the just-released action thriller Prison. blood from dustwhich is among our picks for the three great Hulu movies you should stream this weekend.

Blood for Dust (2024)
game of Thrones Actor Kit Harington really plays against type. blood from dust. In this film, Harington's character, Ricky, is anything but heroic. He's the guy who gives Cliff (Scoot McNairy) a lifeline when his job prospects are slim. Cliff made his own mistakes on his way to the life he created for himself, and he makes an even bigger mistake by accepting Ricky's offer to help him smuggle guns and drugs.
Cliff took Ricky at his word and that could be his last mistake. That's because Ricky has no qualms about stealing from his partners or leaving a pile of bodies in his wake. Now, Cliff may be the only thing standing between Ricky and a substantial payday. It's just a question of which of them will take one or two bullets.

Fright Night (2011)
“Welcome to the night of fear.” While the original 1985 version of scary night It is possibly better than the 2011 remake, we have to work with what we have in the streamers. The remake definitely had a stellar cast, including the penguinIt's Colin Farrell, formerdoctor who star David Tennant and the late Anton Yelchin stars as Charley Brewster. Charley's best friend, Edward “Evil Ed” Lee (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), is convinced that his new neighbor, Jerry (Farrell), is secretly a vampire. But Charley dismisses it outright.
When Evil Ed disappears, Charley begins to realize that his friend was right and that Jerry is taking advantage of the neighborhood. Desperate for help, Charley turns to so-called vampire expert Peter Vincent (Tennant). However, Peter wants nothing to do with real vampires, which may leave Charley with no one to turn to if he wants to save his girlfriend, Amy Peterson (Imogen Poots), and the rest of Jerry's victims.

Sideways (2004)
Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church have a wild road trip in Obliquewhich takes its characters through California wine country. Jack Cole (Church) is an actor who is finally getting married, while his friend, Miles Raymond (Giamatti), is a struggling writer who can't get his manuscript published. Miles just wants to take advantage of the pre-wedding trip to relax, but all Jack cares about is finding a woman to flirt with.
Jack gets his wish with Stephanie (Sandra Oh), a woman he meets at a wine tasting. Even Miles finds a possible romance with a waitress, Maya Randall (Virginia Madsen). Miles isn't as quick as his friend when it comes to wooing women, but he might have something genuine with Maya… if Jack's lie about being single doesn't come back to haunt them both.
