Jake Paul has revealed who he supports in the 2024 US presidential election – although he admitted he can't actually take part himself.
The boxer, who gave up his right to vote when he moved to Puerto Rico, posted an 18-minute video on X Jueves in which he explained why he wanted Donald Trump to be president.
In the clip, Paul, 27, mentions the economy, border management and even transgenderism as topics that have influenced his thinking towards Trump.
He also told his followers that “God has sent me here to tell you this message,” while encouraging them to do their own research.
'Look at the facts. Think for yourself. Don't be a sheep in this world full of sheep,' he said.
Jake Paul revealed in a new video posted on X that he will support Donald Trump
“I'm putting my business, my career on the line during my heyday before I fight Mike Tyson… because I don't give a damn what the consequences are.”
Paul admitted that Tony Hinchcliffe's widely criticized “trash” comment about Puerto Rico at Trump's Madison Square Garden rally was a “bad joke.”
However, Paul encouraged fans to “do the right thing and vote for Donald Trump.”
“Most of your favorite celebrities, athletes, all of them are secretly conservative because the left has created a world where conservatives like me speaking out have very, very important consequences.”
He added that he expected negative reactions to the video, but that he was not afraid of the “left-liberal media.”
The endorsement isn't very surprising after he called New York a “dumb Democrat city” while promoting his upcoming fight with Tyson in the Big Apple.
